The Foundation launched in 2016, the Haitian Women’s Business Academy, a one-year mentoring program which trained and prepared twelve women entrepreneurs for the global marketplace. The focus was on capacity building and optimizing the supply and value chains. Academy members come from the agri-business and craft sectors. The Foundation has also helped women owned small and medium-sized enterprises including a poultry slaughterhouse, SAPEN S.A., to overcome financing constraints by facilitating their access to funding necessary to grow.
