Empower Haitian Women, Ignite Change

“When Haitian women rise, communities thrive. Culture is preserved, economies grow, and a nation is transformed.”

Our Vision

We see a Haiti where every woman has the power to create, grow, and lead with impact. A country where women creators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers are central to shaping markets, influencing policies, preserving heritage, redefining Haiti’s future, and inspiring future generations.

Our Mission

The Danielle Saint Lot Haiti Women’s Foundation exists to unlock the full economic and creative potential of Haitian women.

We support women across Haiti—from artisans and designers to farmers and food entrepreneurs—by empowering them with the tools, training, and connections they need to thrive.

Through strategic programs in the creative industries and agricultural market systems, we build bridges between Haitian women and global opportunities—turning talent and tradition into engines of change.

Leadership & Visibility

We empower artists, artisans, designers, and cultural entrepreneurs to scale their work, access to resources and  new markets, and collaborate with global creatives, turning talent into livelihood and heritage into prosperity.

We work alongside women farmers, processors, and agribusiness leaders to enhance productivity, unlock diaspora and export markets, and promote value-added production rooted in traditional Haitian crops like cassava, yam, and rice.

We amplify women’s voices and support them as changemakers across all sectors, from grassroots communities to regional and national platforms and international arenas.

Registered both in Haiti and in the U.S. under the 501 (c) (3) section of the IRS, our Foundation was launched in March 2015 during Women’s History Month.

It has received support from its Board of Directors, The Raben Group, Small Axe Communications, Vital Voices Global Partnership, Bank of America, Open Society Foundation Haiti/FOKAL, Brupee Seeds, Konbit/USAID, CECI-UNITERA, Michael Stars, Karin Shipman, Brunette Mérise, Nédjée Saint-Fleur Mauconduit, Cleve Mésidor, Justine Metz, Suzanne Lerner and many generous friends.
